1/3 Of The Way There!

goal-setting progress time management

Believe it or not, we’re already about a third of the way through the year.
Time flies — but goals don’t achieve themselves.

Now’s the perfect moment to pause and ask a powerful question:
Am I one-third of the way to my annual goals?

If the answer is yes, fantastic! You're on pace.  Keep up the good work!
If the answer is no — don't panic. But don’t ignore it either.

Why This Check-In Matters

Annual goals feel big and distant when we set them. That’s why it’s easy to drift through the first few months of the year without much urgency.
We tell ourselves we’ll "get serious" later.
But the reality is: later always comes faster than we think.

A 12-month goal is really just four 90-day sprints.
And if you’re not roughly 33% of the way there now, catching up later will be harder than you think.

Momentum matters.
Tiny course corrections now — made early — can make a huge difference by year-end.

What To Do If You’re Behind

If you're not where you wanted to be yet, don't beat yourself up.
Instead, use this moment as a wake-up call.

Here’s a simple reset plan:

  1. Revisit Your Goals: Are they still relevant? Are they clear and measurable? If not, sharpen them.

  2. Identify Gaps: What specifically has held you back so far? Lack of focus? Poor habits? Unrealistic timelines?

  3. Prioritize Ruthlessly: You can’t fix everything at once. Choose one or two critical actions that would make the biggest impact and start there.

  4. Set a 30-Day Sprint: Forget the whole year for a moment. Focus on winning the next 30 days. Build momentum first, then scale up.

Remember, success isn’t about working harder — it’s about working more intentionally.

What To Do If You’re On Track

If you're already 33% of the way there — congratulations!
But don't get too comfortable.

Ask yourself:

  • What’s working? Double down on it.

  • Where can I gain even more ground? This is your chance to shift from "on pace" to "ahead of pace."

Finishing strong starts with building an early lead.
